We are looking for a Service Manager to join our friendly team in a brand new 40,000 sq ft Fleet Facility!  With large contracts with some of the largest companies in the Pacific Northwest.  We are a rapidly expanding operation and paying top dollar for experienced Service Managers. Description/Responsibilities:

  • Reports to Parts/Service Director
  • Use WPM & Store policies to guide all decisions for proper outcomes
  • Coordinate Workflow & priorities with Fleet Service Manager & Dispatcher
  • Oversight of all Service Advisor & Porters in Dealer Home Shop
  • Develop staff behavior to consider Fleet & customer needs.  Prioritize according to contracting fleet agreements, dealer sold units, time since transaction, safety items, potential recheck & dealer family (both actual & work family)
  • Lead assigned projects and delegate others as needed in Dealer Shop for completion
  • Summarize reporting type activities with outcome electronically for P&S Director review
  • Special tool audits for function, location & need of replacement or order lists
  • Investigate/report staff issues for escalation or disciplinary actions to P&S Director
  • Provide updates to P&S Director for ongoing TAR’s
  • Onboarding new hires or departmental transfers
  • Work with Foreman on prep for OSHA inspections performed with ICM quarterly
  • Monthly meetings with P&S Director for review of efforts and transparency
  • Weekly meeting with Fleet Service Manager, Dispatcher & P&S Director
  • Assist with running staff meetings before, during & after work hours
  • Flexible schedule to be considered as hours and store operating requirements change

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a service manager or similar position
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and standards
  • Ability to analyze and solve complex problems
  • Ability to make sound decisions and prioritize tasks
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
