Mechanic - Truck And Equipment Fleet

We have an immediate opening for a skilled Mechanic who is comfortable working on a mixed fleet of Trucks and Equipment. We have a fleet of Pick Up Trucks, Drilling Rigs, Off Road Equipment and support equipment. The majority of work will be performed in shop but some field repairs will be required.

This is with a smaller company with only one mechanic on staff. You will have shop helpers to assist with larger jobs but for the most part will be working independently. The perks to this is that you can set your times, organize the shop in a way that makes the most sense for you and have a lot of freedom in your job. Management is fairly hands off so long as the job is getting done.

Journeyman license is an asset but not a requirement. A good attitude and ability to work with the rest of the team are crucial to being successful in this role.
