Diesel Mechanic I

Come Join North America’s public and private market motor coach leader. We are looking for Level I mechanics to come join a growing operation in Los Angeles. Performs the diagnosis, removal, repair and replacement of various motor coach parts limited supervision!

 WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Diagnosis, removal, repair and replacement of diesel engines

Diagnosis, removal, repair and replacement of drive line components, including transmissions, drive shafts and differentials

Diagnosis, removal, repair and replacement of engine and body accessories, including heating and air conditioning components, alternators / generators, voltage regulators, suspension components

Diagnosis, removal, repair and replacement of braking systems

Diagnosis, removal, repair and replacement of electrical systems and components

Diagnosis, removal, repair and replacement of seating, steering components and glass installations

Directs/assigns coach movement to Garage Helper/Bus Washer with CDL

 WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Valid Commercial Driver’s License (with air brake and passenger endorsements)

EPA air conditioning certification required

Must furnish all small hand tools required to perform the functions specified above.   Generally, this includes all tools at and below a ½” drive level

Must be able to perform responsibilities with no supervision
