Classic Car Automotive Technician

We are seeking an experienced Classic Car Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and restoring classic cars from various European makes and models . The ideal candidate should have a passion for classic cars and a strong understanding of their unique mechanical requirements.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough diagnostic tests to identify and repair mechanical and electrical issues in classic cars
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake replacements
Disassemble, repair, and reassemble engines, transmissions, and other mechanical systems on classic cars
Restore and maintain classic car interiors, including upholstery, carpets, and dashboard components
Work with specialized classic car parts and tools, and have knowledge of the differences between vintage and modern car components
Keep accurate records of all work performed on classic cars, including parts used and labor hours
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, and ensure all tools and equipment are in good working order
Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience working as a classic car mechanic
In-depth knowledge of classic car mechanical systems, including engines, transmissions, suspension, and electrical systems
Experience working with a variety of classic car makes and models
Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical issues to non-technical customers
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
Must have own tools
Compensation
$25.00 - $40.00/ per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
